FATIGUE AND THE MENOPAUSE

There are many reasons why you may be feeling tired, such as after an illness, extreme activity or acute stress. When doctors use the word ‘fatigue’, they mean overwhelming, prolonged and often- unexplained tiredness, not relieved by good sleep and rest.

BLOOD PRESSURE – THE SILENT KILLER

Almost one in three adults in the UK has high blood pressure – that’s around 16 million people. In addition, over five million adults have high blood pressure but don’t know it. That’s because high blood pressure doesn’t have any symptoms, which is why the condition is known as the silent killer.
